Public-university and government sources, 2025. Tuition reflects regulated public-sector fees; private universities can run higher. Italian fees are tied to ISEE family-income brackets — most international students at the lower brackets pay closer to the minimum.

Got into PoliMi for Mechanical Engineering, but the paperwork was the hard part. The Edubros team walked me through ISEE, DSU and the visa interview in the same week. I ended up with a partial scholarship I didn't know I qualified for.

I was stuck between three Italian universities. The Edubros team put everything on a single sheet (fees, TOLC dates, deadlines, housing) and I picked Bologna in one call. They even helped me find a flatmate before I landed.

Most consultants stop replying once you pay them. The Edubros team stayed in my WhatsApp through the codice fiscale, permesso di soggiorno and the first month of bills in Padova. That's the part most people don't tell you about.

I had already been rejected once for a German visa, so I was second-guessing everything. The Edubros team rebuilt my SOP for Italy, pre-checked my documents twice, and the consulate appointment took eleven minutes.

Picked Ancona because Edubros is here and they handled things in person. Lower cost of living than Milan, English-taught Master's at UnivPM, and they helped me set up my bank account the day I got my codice fiscale.

I had two weeks before the Sapienza deadline closed. The Edubros team translated my transcripts, certified them through declaration of value, and got my application in with a day to spare. I'm in Roma now.

First in my family to apply abroad, so I had no clue. The Edubros team explained the whole DSU and ISEE flow in plain English. My Florence tuition came down from €4,500 to €700 a year because of it.
Kabir Patel

Got my pre-enrollment confirmed on Universitaly, then panicked about the visa. The team did a mock interview with me on WhatsApp and handed me a checklist for the appointment. Visa stamped first try.

Italian PhDs are funded, but the application is bureaucratic. Edubros helped me match with a research group, draft the proposal in the right format, and follow up with the supervisor. The contract came through three months later.

The short version of what students ask us most weeks. Anything missing? Send us a message.
Public university tuition starts as low as €156 per year and runs up to about €4,000, depending on the university and your family income (Italian universities use ISEE-based fee tiers). Living costs in cities like Ancona, Bologna or Padua usually fall between €300 and €700 per month.
Yes. A growing number of Bachelor's and most Master's and PhD programs at major Italian universities are taught entirely in English. We help you find the right ones for your field.
Most English-taught programs ask for IELTS 6.0 to 6.5, or an equivalent like TOEFL or Duolingo. We provide preparation if you need it.
From document submission to visa issuance, typically 30 to 60 days. Apply 2 to 3 months before your intended departure to be safe.
Yes. International students on a study visa can work up to 20 hours per week during the academic year, and full time during scheduled breaks.
Yes. Graduates can apply for a 12-month post-study residence permit to look for work or start a business in Italy.
Most Italian universities have an autumn intake in September, with application windows opening between January and April. Strong applications take 6 to 9 months to assemble, so talk to us early.
The first consultation is free. Service packages vary by program level and visa support needs. We share a transparent quote after the first call.
TOLC is the standardised online entrance test used by most Italian public universities for Bachelor's admissions. Different versions exist (TOLC-I for engineering, TOLC-E for economics, etc.). It's typically taken from your home country and the result is valid across multiple universities.
ISEE is an Italian household-income indicator, and DSU is the form you submit to declare it. Italian public universities use your ISEE to calculate annual tuition, so two students at the same university can pay very different fees. Students from lower-income households often pay close to the legal minimum (as low as €156 a year).
Declaration of Value (DoV) is an official document issued by the Italian consulate in your home country that translates and certifies your academic qualifications for use in Italy. It is required for most university applications and student visa approvals.
Yes. Italian universities actively recruit Indian students, and most major institutions offer English-taught Master's and PhD programs. The Italian student visa (Type D) is open to Indian nationals, and Edubros has placed students from across India into Italian Bachelor's, Master's and PhD programs.
